At Bentex Farm, we believe customer satisfaction begins with the earth: the land from which we grow and create fine brands and fine produce that are key to our way of doing business. We believe that integrity, trustworthiness and honesty are integral to who we are as a company, and so, we insist that at every stage of what we do, Bentex Farm works in partnership with our suppliers, we insist on ‘Fair Trade’ principles and ethical business practices that support even the smallest grower. We also stipulate that the choice of produce we accept, and its delivery to the supermarket shelf and your customers’ tables, are all done to the highest ethical and quality standards. It is this passion for getting things right and our refusal to compromise on quality that have established our reputation for nearly four decades.
French beans, also known as green beans, and locally as mishiri, are a major export crop. French beans contain protein, fat, calcium, iron, phosphorus, vitamins A, B, D and starch. French beans grow well in lower midland to lower highland zones of altitudes ranging from 1500-2100 metres above sea level. Areas where the crops are grown include Machakos, Thika, Murang’a, Nyandarua, Kirinyaga, Naivasha, Nyeri and Embu. Rain-fed cultivation is possible in areas with well-distributed, medium to high annual rainfall of 900-1,200mm per annum.
Client satisfaction: Our watchwords for sustainable growth. Bentex Farm is committed to delivering the highest level of client satisfaction in the horticultural and export sector. To support and achieve this goal, the company has implemented structures and a quality policy that is systematically applied to all its assignments.
